Terms & Conditions

  1. All initial bookings must be made via dundeeunitedct.classforkids.co.uk by a parent or guardian for players under the age of eighteen or by the player if they are aged eighteen or over.
  2. Booking confirmation will be automatically sent by ClassForKids via e-mail once a successful booking and payment, if appropriate, has been made. Making a booking will be considered as a course member’s acceptance of these conditions.
  3. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Dundee United Community Trust reserves the right to reject any application. Although applications will be accepted up to course commencement, it should be noted that classes or camps may be cancelled if there are insufficient applications two days before commencement. Should any class or camp be filled to capacity, then on receipt of an application a waiting list will be implemented.
  4. All fees must be paid in full before course commencement for all classes and camps. For classes where payment is by recurring subscription, subscriptions are paid monthly in advance. Failure to pay monthly subscriptions may result in the player being suspended from the class. As subscription payments are made using a rolling monthly card transaction it falls to the bill payer to ensure details are kept up to date, when a payment has been missed, we will send a prompt for you to update the payment details to the email address linked with your account. Dundee United Community Trust retains the absolute discretion to waive any fees to attend any of our classes or camps. To request the waiving of fees please e-mail enquiries@dundeeunitedct.co.uk.
  5. Dundee United Community Trust reserves the right to cancel or amend the arrangements for any class or camp. In this event, any class or camp member unable to transfer to an alternative class or camp will offered the choice of a credit balance to the same value held by Dundee United Community Trust for future classes or camps or be issued with a full refund, and Dundee United Community Trust will not be responsible for further compensation.
  6. Should you wish to cancel a class or camp booking your request must be made in writing to enquiries@dundeeunitedct.co.uk with a minimum of three working days’ notice ahead of the next scheduled class or camp. Dundee United Community Trust will not issue refunds to any account in arrears, instead, the value of the arrears will be retained from any refund due in the first instance. Should the value of the arrears be more than the value of the refund, you are still liable for the balance of the outstanding arrears, even after cancellation. Dundee United Community Trust reserves the right to reject future applications from those who have outstanding arrears - the bill payer will also be liable to pay any outstanding amount.
  7. Dundee United Community Trust subscription-based classes operate on either a calendar year basis (January – December) or an academic year basis (August – July). Costs to attend a subscription-based class are calculated annually and payable over twelve monthly instalments. Alternative payment options are available, including paying an entire year's membership in advance at a discounted rate. Those opting to pay in advance are not entitled to a refund. Please contact us should you wish to find out more about our alternative payment options.
  8. The participants and coaches are covered by the Dundee United Community Trusts Public Liability Insurance only, however, this does not include damage to, or theft of, personal property. Participants and parents/guardians may wish to take out private and personal accident insurance and any other insurance cover deemed necessary.
  9. The participant agrees to abide by the rules implemented by Dundee United Community Trust and its staff, including complying with the player code of conduct. The parent/guardian of players aged 18 years and under also agree to abide by the parents’ charter.
  10. Participants are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and to attend on time. Dundee United Community Trust reserves the right to remove, without refund, participants who are not following fair play guidelines, i.e. bullying, misbehaving, or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  11. Photographs and videos may be taken and used by Dundee United Community Trust for marketing, media, and social media purposes. If you do not wish your child to be included in photographs and/or videos, please inform us in writing before the class or camp begins.
  12. Parents/guardians accept that with any football and/or sports session there is an inherent risk of participants sustaining an injury. Dundee United Community Trust and its staff and volunteers are not responsible for any loss or injury during a class or camp.
  13. Dundee United Community Trust will not be held responsible for the cancellation of any class or camp due to severe weather conditions. Refunds will not be given for weather-related cancellations.
