Welcome to Terrys Tots, where we believe in laying the foundation for a lifetime of physical activity, social interaction, and skill development in our youngest players. Our early years programmes are designed to introduce children aged 18 months to 3 years old (Terrys Tots) to the joys of movement and play in a safe, nurturing environment, whilst learning to play and love football.
We use free play as the primary way to engage children, encouraging them to explore and enjoy the activities. Our coaches actively connect with each child, motivating them to take on the challenges and tasks provided. The session is designed to help children develop the following essential skills:
IMPROVING BASIC MOTOR SKILLS
eg balance, coordination, reactions & reflexes
DEVELOPING FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENTS
eg catching, jumping, kicking, running & throwing
PROMOTING KEY SOCIAL SKILLS
eg communication, confidence, listening & sharing
PREPARING FOR KEY TRANSITIONS
eg moving to nursery
