Welcome to Tiny Tangerines, where we believe in laying the foundation for a lifetime of physical activity, social interaction, and skill development in our youngest players. Our early years programmes are designed to introduce children aged 18 months to 3 years old (Terrys Tots) and 3 to 5 years old (Tiny Tangerines) to the joys of movement and play in a safe, nurturing environment, whilst learning to play and love football.
Our programmes capture the attention and focus of the young players by tapping into popular themes such as Paw Patrol, Bluey, and other tv/film favourites, as well as classic themes such as cars, dinosaurs, spaceships and animals.

At Tiny Tangerines, we focus on three key areas of development:
πΈ Fundamental Movement Skills: Through engaging activities and games, we help children develop essential movement skills such as running, jumping, hopping, catching, kicking, and throwing. These fundamental movements form the building blocks for future physical activities and sports.
πΈ Social Skills: Our programmes provide valuable opportunities for children to interact with other children and our coaches, fostering the development of important social skills such as listening, following instructions, taking turns, and communicating with others. We create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected.
πΈ Age-Appropriate Skill Development: We recognise that children progress at their own pace, which is why our sessions are carefully tailored to the developmental needs of each age child. Whether it's learning to balance on one foot, dribble a ball, or engage in cooperative play, our coaches provide age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire young participants.

πΈ Physical Literacy: By engaging in a variety of movement activities, children develop physical literacyβthe confidence, competence, and motivation to participate in physical activities for life.
πΈ Cognitive Development: Our programmes stimulate cognitive development by encouraging children to problem-solve, make decisions, and explore their surroundings in a supportive and structured setting.
πΈ Emotional Wellbeing: Through positive reinforcement and encouragement, we help children build self-esteem, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment as they overcome challenges and achieve new milestones.
πΈ Parental Engagement: We recognise the important role that parents and carers play in their child's development. Our programmes provide opportunities for parents to actively participate in sessions, bond with their child, and support their learning journey both on and off the pitch.
πΈ Transition to Primary School: Regular participation in structured, group activities help children become comfortable in group settings, reducing anxiety when they start attending primary school, and allow them to learn the importance of rules and discipline through routine.
Join us at Tiny Tangerines and embark on a fun-filled adventure of discovery, growth, and friendship.
