Terrys Tots is back during the Summer Holiday's. At Terrys Tots we believe in laying the foundation for a lifetime of physical activity, social interaction, and skill development in our youngest players. β½οΈ π£π₯π’ππ₯ππ π π π’πππππ§ππ©ππ¦ At Terrys Tots, we focus on three key areas of development: β’ Fundamental Movement Skills: Through engaging activities and games, we help children develop essential movement skills such as running, jumping, hopping, catching, kicking, and throwing. These fundamental movements form the building blocks for future physical activities and sports. β’ Social Skills: Our programmes provide valuable opportunities for children to interact with other children and our coaches, fostering the development of important social skills such as listening, following instructions, taking turns, and communicating with others. We create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected. β’ Age-Appropriate Skill Development: We recognise that children progress at their own pace, which is why our sessions are carefully tailored to the developmental needs of each age child. Whether it's learning to balance on one foot, dribble a ball, or engage in cooperative play, our coaches provide age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire young participants. π‘ πππ‘ππππ§π¦ π’π π§ππ₯π₯π¬π¦ π§π’π§π¦ πΈ Physical Literacy: By engaging in a variety of movement activities, children develop physical literacyβthe confidence, competence, and motivation to participate in physical activities for life. πΈ Cognitive Development: Our programmes stimulate cognitive development by encouraging children to problem-solve, make decisions, and explore their surroundings in a supportive and structured setting. πΈ Emotional Wellbeing: Through positive reinforcement and encouragement, we help children build self-esteem, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment as they overcome challenges and achieve new milestones. πΈ Parental Engagement: We recognise the important role that parents and carers play in their child's development. Our programmes provide opportunities for parents to actively participate in sessions, bond with their child, and support their learning journey both on and off the pitch.
